3 Days of Competition in the Pyrenees
Toray Carbon Fibers Europe is proud to support the Third Edition of the women’s cycling race, the Tour Féminin International des Pyrénées (TFIP), which will take place from 14th to 16th June 2024 in the Pyrenees.
Three challenging stages are scheduled in the heart of the Pyrenees including the legendary Col d’Aubisque, a regular favourite of the Tour de France.
- Stage 1: Goudon – Lourdes (129 Km)
- Stage 2: Pierrefitte-Nestalas – Aubisque (96 Km)
- Stage 3: Nay – Bosdarros (126 Km)
As the Director of the Tour Féminin International des Pyrénée0, Elisabeth Chevanne, explains:
„These three stages are also an excellent preparation for the upcoming cycling events such as the French championships, the Women’s Giro in Italy at the beginning of July and the Women’s Tour de France in mid-August“.
20 teams will participate in the race.
Toray Carbon Fibers Europe chose to sponsor this edition of the Tour Féminin International des Pyrénées as it is a international sporting event close to our production sites located at the foot of the Pyrenees. For our company, women’s cycling and women’s sport in general must be promoted and supported more widely. This is in accordance with our values and those of the Toray Group.
